Balcony Lot presents
Before the sun
An exhibition by Kasper Bauer
Opening reception: Thursday May 9. 2019 Time: 16:00-19:00
Exhibition period: May 09. – June 06. 2019
Kasper Bauer practice reflects his own human existence. He questions common human themes with all the complexity and yet a banal approach to these expressions by a visual language where only the essence remains : a universe of lines to be sensed.
His paintings often (quite literally) moves around topics such as repetitions, which is where the human often finds itself in the right place. The routine is a repetition of life over and over again. Bauer´s work is therefore a reflection of the phenomenon“repeating patterns ”There is a beginning and there is always an end".
Kasper Bauer was born in 1986. He grew up in Roskilde and now lives and works in Nørrebro, Copenhagen.
